Differently by common oil derivative polymers, PLA is obtained from biological resources, is biodegradable under proper conditions and has really low environmental impact.
Fiber Force’s ABS is characterized by an excellent impact resistance and a low shrinkage rate.
ABS (Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene), is a thermoplastic material that finds a wide use in general industry because of its excellent impact resistance and processability.
Differently from PLA, ABS tends to warp while cooling down, so we warmly suggest to use it on printers with heated bed.
Composed by a modified Polyactid Acid, allows to print perfect objects with a better-refined surface if compared to standard PLA.
It’s printable with a temperature around 200°C and allows printing up to 400 mm/s: this is possible thanks to its particular viscosity and its high cooling rate. Heated bed is not necessary.
Engineering grade polyester PET compound, showing superior bed adhesion, excellent at bridging as well as retraction, and keeping printed parts clean without any need of post-processing.
It features higher mechanical strength and printing precision than any kind of ABS, but prints as easy as PLA.
