Material Safety Data Sheet
ABS (Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene), is a thermoplastic material that, being derived by fossil oil, is a non-biodegradable product.
This polymer finds a wide use in thermoplastic industry because of its excellent impact resistance.
Differently from PLA, ABS tends to warp while cooling down, so we warmly suggest to use it on printers with heated bed.
It is available in diameter 1.75mm and 2.85mm.
Every single spool is vacuum-packed in a strong double-barrier plastic bag with desiccant and boxed, in order to preserve the freshness and and quality of the filament and always get the best printing conditions.
Thanks to a sophisticated laser-control system, Fiber Force can guarantee at each production, in addition to a perfect roundness of the filament’s section (over 99%), even a dimensional tolerance close to excellence:
- +/- 0.05mm on diameter Ø 2.85mm
- +/- 0.03mm on diameter Ø 1.75mm
Technicians in our research & development department are constantly operating to extend our offer of approved materials, deeply tested and suitable for 3D printing.
